How to get to Usa Jingu Shrine
Take a Yokkaichi-bound bus from Usa Station to Usa Hachiman. Cross the Usa Jingu entrance intersection on Route 10 towards the shrine. Follow Nakamise, Shirobashi, Omotesando and Usa Torii to the main sanctuary area. After worship, retrace the path and take a Bungo-Takada-bound bus via Usa Station. Check actual-date weekday/weekend timetables and on-site controls. JR and bus fares are excluded from guide subtotals.

Visit during upper sanctuary opening hours
The upper sanctuary admits visitors 06:00–18:00, with possible New Year changes. Open grounds do not mean unlimited upper sanctuary entry. Visit during your date’s upper sanctuary hours.
Return bus to Usa Station
Take a Yokkaichi-bound bus from Usa Station to Usa Hachiman outward. Return on a Bungo-Takada-bound service via Usa Station. Distinguish weekday and weekend schedules and allow the sanctuary–stop walk. Follow on-site controls if in place.

You need to walk the approach. Cross at the Usa Jingu entrance intersection towards the shrine, then follow Nakamise, Shirobashi, Omotesando and Usa Torii. Leave time to walk back for your return bus.
