How to get to Usuki Stone Buddhas
Book a sightseeing taxi from Usuki Station to the stone buddhas and back after visiting. The official map estimates a 15-minute taxi ride. Contact the company by the previous day to agree on station boarding, visiting time and return trains. The flexible city course runs July 1, 2026–March 31, 2027, at ¥7,000 per vehicle for two hours, with limited daily vehicles. JR and taxi fares are excluded from guide subtotals.

Is the ¥7,000 two-hour taxi fare per person?
It is per vehicle. The tourism association’s flexible city course is a limited-period product running July 1, 2026–March 31, 2027, requiring previous-day booking. Stone buddha admission and JR fares are separate. Check extra time, parking and other conditions when booking.
