How to get to Yashimāru
Take a Yashima Sanjo-bound shuttle from JR Yashima Station or Kotoden Yashima Station. After getting off at Yashima Sanjo, find Yashimāru at number 11 on the official summit map, which also marks the tourist car park and Yashimaji Temple, then follow signs on foot. The facility leaflet also shows the main entrance. The official ten-minute walking estimate starts at Yashima Sanjo tourist car park, not the bus stop; allow extra time to find the route after getting off. Adult one-way shuttle fares are JPY 340 from JR Yashima Station and JPY 300 from Kotoden Yashima Station. Choose uphill and downhill services together in your date’s official timetable. The direct service from Takamatsu Station stop 7 costs JPY 700 one way for adults. It operates subject to weekend, public-holiday and designated school-break conditions, rather than every weekday.
