Visitor information
Admission
Individual admission to the keep, Kaitokukan, the east tamon building and corridor gate is ¥500 for ages 18 and older. Under-18s enter free with proof of age such as student identification. A combined ticket with Kochi Castle Museum of History is separate.
Opening hours
The keep and Kaitokukan open 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with last admission at 4:30 p.m. Closed December 26–January 1. Hours may extend during events.

How to get to Kochi Castle
Take a Harimayabashi-bound tram from Kochi-Ekimae. Change at Harimayabashi for an Ino-bound tram and get off at Kochijo-mae. Walk uphill through the park to the keep. There are steps along the approach.

Even after getting off at Kochijo-mae, you need to walk uphill through the park to the keep. The route has steps, so allow for walking after the tram if aiming to arrive before last admission.
