Getting there by train or bus
From Tokyo, take the Tohoku Shinkansen to Shin-Aomori and transfer to the JR Ou Main Line for Aomori. Walk from Aomori Station to the city parade area.
Planning your visit
Choose a night parade for the illuminated float designs. The final harbour programme is in a different viewing area, so leave time to move between the streets and waterfront.
