Osaka Tenmangu and the Okawa River boat procession area
大阪天満宮・大川周辺
The land procession leaves Osaka Tenmangu and moves toward Tenjin Bridge for embarkation. Boats travel on the Okawa; Sakuranomiya Park is a possible riverside viewing area, not the boarding venue.

Getting there by train or bus
From Osaka Station, walk to Higashi-Umeda and take the Tanimachi subway to Minami-morimachi. Alternatively, walk to Kitashinchi and take the JR Tozai Line to Osakatemmangu.
Planning your visit
Start with the land programme if that interests you, then allow time to walk towards the river for the boats. The shrine pin is not a riverbank viewing entrance.
