OKICAオキカ

Use OKICA on Yui Rail and selected buses on Okinawa's main island. You can buy it at Yui Rail stations, but returns and refunds are handled at designated offices instead of stations.
Refund fees vary by operator and apply even with a zero balance. You cannot return the card at the airport's Yui Rail station just before departure; visit a refund office in advance.

Where can you use it?
Use it on Yui Rail and participating buses and taxis on Okinawa's main island. OKICA is outside the nationwide interoperability network and cannot be used in Tokyo or Osaka.
On trains and buses
Tap the same card at entry and exit gates. With a mobile card, leave using the device you tapped in with. Buses may require a tap on boarding, on exit, or both; follow the door and onboard instructions.
Each train passenger needs a separate card. Buy a ticket for the whole journey before boarding if you are crossing separate IC card areas or going to a station that does not accept the card.
At convenience stores, hotels and shops
Use it in participating taxis or at merchants displaying the OKICA mark. It is not accepted throughout the nationwide Suica and ICOCA merchant network.
Name the card at checkout and tap when the amount appears on the reader. If the balance is short, ask whether you can split payment with cash or another card.

Where can you get a refund, and what is the fee?
Return it to an office handling OKICA. Yui Rail stations do not process cancellation or refunds. For a card with a commuter pass, first have the issuing company refund the pass and remove its information.
Keep the card if you plan to use it on another trip. To return it now, find the refund counter's opening hours and bring the card and any required identification.
