Admission
Individual permanent-exhibition admission costs 200 yen. From April 1, 2026, high-school students and younger enter free with student ID or equivalent proof at reception. The adjoining national peace memorial hall is separate and free.
Opening hours
September–April hours are 08:30–17:30, with last admission at 17:00. May–August hours are 08:30–18:30, with last admission at 18:00. On August 7–9, the museum stays open until 20:00, with last admission at 19:30.

From Nagasaki Station stop, take Akasako-bound route 1 or 3 to Atomic Bomb Museum stop, then walk about five minutes. On return, take a Nagasaki Station-bound tram.

Are the Atomic Bomb Museum and national peace memorial hall the same facility?
They are separate. General museum admission is 200 yen; the adjoining national peace memorial hall is free. From April 1, 2026, high-school students and younger also enter the museum free, showing student ID or equivalent proof at permanent-exhibition reception.
