Tokyo Government Building 31F / Mount Fuji DirectionPreview under review

Tokyo’s Bureau of Environment publishes official observation photographs toward Mount Fuji from the government building’s 31st floor. Check the capture time and standard or zoomed photograph on the original page; Mount Fuji may be obscured by weather. The approximate marker is at Main Building 2, not the public 45th-floor observation deck.

Image update intervals and capture times depend on the operator. Check the official page for current broadcast status.

Open the official camera page to access the operator’s video or images. Viewing options are provided on that page.

When to choose this view

Use this photo as a reference when you want to know whether the Mount Fuji direction may be visible from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building observatory in Shinjuku. It is not a close Fuji view like Lake Kawaguchi or Lake Yamanaka cameras, so use those for the mountain itself.

What this view cannot tell you

One photo does not guarantee the current view. Check the observatory’s official information and confirm conditions on arrival.

No picture, or a view that has stopped updating?

If no view is available, check the source page for operating notices. A missing preview here does not necessarily mean the camera is offline.

“Connection last checked” records a link check, not an image capture time or confirmation of a live broadcast.

The camera only covers its field of view. Check the relevant official notices for weather, transport and access restrictions. Source information

During an earthquake, severe rain, typhoon or other emergency, use this view only as a reference. Follow official weather, disaster and transport alerts, plus instructions on site, when deciding whether to evacuate or travel.

Tokyo Kanda Myojin / Courtyard and Approach

Kanda Myojin’s official visitor information page provides two views of its courtyard and approach, refreshed about every ten minutes. The marker approximates Zuishinmon Gate. These periodic photographs are separate from the shrine’s general YouTube videos and past festival broadcasts.
