How should I compare still images with video?
Match capture dates and times on still images with live indicators and broadcast dates on videos. Our connection-check time is not the camera’s capture time. An older image makes it hard to tell whether clouds differ because of location or elapsed time.
Should I cancel a visit if Fuji is hidden on camera?
One image cannot predict visibility for the whole day. Check another viewpoint and the local forecast, and consider the lake and nearby sights in your plans. A clear mountain view does not establish safe climbing conditions at the summit.
