Which beach should I choose?
Choose Yonaha Maehama for a long white-sand walk, or Painagama for a short seaside stop from Hirara. The Painagama camera cannot tell you what the surf is doing at Maehama.
Does clear water mean safe swimming?
Clear-looking water does not establish safe swimming. Follow notices at your actual beach and check wind, waves and typhoon updates. Do not stop on Irabu Bridge for photos.
