Day 1: Naritasan and Omotesando
Combine temple worship near Narita Station and an Omotesando walk today. If arriving late, explore streets and meals, saving indoor worship for tomorrow. If doing so, shorten Sawara sightseeing or stay in Narita for the day instead.
- Narita Airport railway station → Keisei Narita or JR Narita Station
Choose a train stopping in central Narita; Skyliner services run towards Nippori and Ueno instead. From Terminal 3, first reach the railway station at Terminal 2. Airport hotels and Narita Station accommodation have different locations.
- JR and Keisei Narita station area → Naritasan Somon gate via Omotesando
Walk along Omotesando’s shopping street to the Somon gate. Omotesando extends about 800 metres from the station area; reaching the main hall requires further travel from the gate.

Follow the steps and slopes through the grounds to the Main Hall. To avoid stairs, check elevator locations in the official grounds map and availability for your date first.

- Main Hall → Worship and explore the grounds
After worship, explore around the main hall. Buildings and reception desks have different hours; if arriving late, visit only open areas. Separate activities such as prayer services and sutra copying are excluded.

- Main Hall → Somon gate and Omotesando
Retrace the path through the grounds to the Somon gate and Omotesando. For a meal, choose an eel restaurant or other shop after checking hours and queues. Temple hours do not apply to restaurants.
- Omotesando → Narita Station area
Return along Omotesando to the station area. Allow time beyond walking if adding street browsing and meals.
Main hall and reception deadlines differ. To add the park, consider the walking involved and return time.
Day 2: Sawara’s memorial museum and Onogawa
Make a return day trip from Narita to Sawara. See exhibitions first, then eat and walk by the river before returning to Narita.
- JR Narita Station → JR Sawara Station
Choose a Narita Line service towards Sawara or Choshi that stops at Sawara, rather than an airport-bound train. Check Narita-bound return trains before leaving.

- Sawara Station → Ino Tadataka Memorial Museum
Walk about 15 minutes from the station to the museum. Choose this for old-street walks combined with exhibitions.

Adult admission costs 500 yen. Explore surveying tools and records used to map Japan. Hours are 09:00–16:30; official guidance recommends entry by around 16:00.
- Around the museum → Onogawa old streets
After the displays, walk among shops and along the Onogawa river, allowing time for a meal. Sightseeing boats and meals are excluded from this course.
- Museum and Onogawa area → Sawara Station
Return to the station along the same route. Allow time for street browsing and meals beyond the museum-to-station walk.
- Sawara Station → JR Narita Station
Return on a Narita-bound train stopping at Narita. Check departure intervals and reach the station in time for your train; you can choose dinner around Narita Station after returning.

The museum closes Mondays, the next weekday when Monday is a public holiday, and December 29–January 1. On closure days, omit exhibitions and walk the old streets, or stay in Narita for the day. In heavy rain, shorten riverside walks and reach the station for your return train.
Day 3: Tourist Pavilion, then Narita Airport
If time remains before departure, see festival floats at Narita Tourist Pavilion. Omit the visit and head to the airport if it is closed or transfer time is tight.

Walk about 10 minutes along Omotesando to the Tourist Pavilion. Visit its float displays, then return to the station. Allow separate time for worship farther along at the temple’s main hall.

Explore local information on the ground floor, then festival floats upstairs. Admission is free. Before going upstairs, check official notices for elevator availability on your date. If stairs are difficult and the elevator is unavailable, visit only the ground floor.

- Narita Tourist Pavilion → Narita Station area
After visiting, return along Omotesando. The walk to the station takes about 10 minutes, excluding meals, queues and access to your accommodation.
- Keisei Narita or JR Narita Station → Narita Airport or Airport Terminal 2 Station
Choose a train stopping at Narita Airport. JR trains towards Choshi are not airport-bound. Alight at Narita Airport Station for Terminal 1 or Airport Terminal 2 Station for Terminals 2 and 3.

For Terminal 3, use the connecting walkway or free shuttle from Terminal 2. Allow for train waits and terminal transfers to arrive at the time specified by your airline. Airport guidance gives station-to-terminal walks of about five minutes for Terminals 1 and 2 and 10 minutes for Terminal 3. These are not total times including trains, waits and departure procedures.
The pavilion opens 09:00–17:00 and closes Mondays and December 29–31. When Monday is a public holiday, it closes Tuesday; after consecutive holidays, it closes the following day.
Included: Adult Ino Tadataka Memorial Museum admission. Separate Naritasan worship activities and sightseeing boats are excluded.

DisneySea and Chiba Port Tower
Stay consecutive nights in Maihama and spend the middle day at DisneySea. A harbour visit on departure day is optional only if airport time remains after returning to Maihama.
Day 1: Maihama and Ikspiari
Travel from the airport to Maihama for meals and shopping beside the station. If visiting your accommodation first, allow extra travel time to its booked location.

Take Tokyo Monorail to its Hamamatsucho terminus. Add terminal-to-platform access and waiting time to the train ride.
- Hamamatsucho Station → Tokyo Station
Change to the JR Yamanote Line towards Tokyo and alight at Tokyo Station. From Narita Airport, use a Narita Express stopping at Tokyo, then continue with the next step.
- Tokyo Station → Maihama Station
Walk to the JR Keiyo/Musashino Line platforms and take a train stopping at Maihama. Allow separately for the walk between Tokyo Station’s other JR lines and the Keiyo platforms.
- Maihama Station south exit → Ikspiari
Go to Ikspiari beside the station. It suits meals or shopping on a day without park entry.

Choose restaurants and shops for a break. Facility hours are 10:00–22:30; individual shops have their own hours. No park ticket is needed; meals, shopping and cinema visits cost extra according to your purchases.

After eating or shopping, use the exit towards the station. To reach your accommodation, follow your booked hotel’s walking route or shuttle boarding point.
If arriving late, shorten shopping and prioritise meals and accommodation access.
Day 2: a full DisneySea day
Today is for DisneySea attractions and harbour scenery. Take the Resort Line from Maihama to enter the park, then return along the same route after visiting.
- Maihama Station → Resort Gateway Station
Walk about two minutes from the station to the Resort Line platforms. Allow separately for stairs, platform access and waits after leaving JR.
- Resort Gateway Station → Tokyo DisneySea Station
Take the Resort Line to DisneySea Station. Official ride time is about nine minutes; a standard adult single costs 300 yen.
- Tokyo DisneySea Station → DisneySea entrance
Walk about one minute from the station to the entrance and use a ticket matching your date and park. Entry queues are excluded from this walk estimate.

Use the official map, daily shows and suspension notices to choose your first stops. Combine nearby attractions with meals and breaks between them.

- Your chosen park area → Tokyo DisneySea Station
After visiting, leave through the park exit and return to the Resort Line station. Plan your final stop around your JR train or hotel shuttle.
- Tokyo DisneySea Station → Resort Gateway Station and Maihama Station
Take the Resort Line back to Resort Gateway Station, then walk towards Maihama. Two standard adult singles total 600 yen; extra rides increase costs.
Check opening and closing times, ticket sales and your chosen facilities for the date. Allow plenty of park time; if staying until closing, check the last JR train or hotel shuttle too.
Day 3: Chiba Port Tower, then the airport
Add the harbour only with a late departure and enough time for both the return trip and airport travel. After visiting, return from Chibaminato to Maihama before leaving for the airport. Collect any luggage left at your accommodation before departure.
- Maihama Station → Chibaminato Station
Take a Soga-bound JR Keiyo Line service stopping at Chibaminato. This course returns to Maihama after sightseeing.
- Chibaminato Station → Chiba Port Tower
Walk about 12 minutes from the station to Port Tower. This excludes travel from Chiba Station and train waits.
- Port Tower entrance → Observation deck
Adult admission is 420 yen. Look over Chiba’s harbour and Tokyo Bay from the deck. Cloudy weather may obscure distant mountains and buildings.
- Observation deck and tower exit → Chibaminato Station
After visiting, return to the station along the same route. For extra walks nearby, first allow for your return train and next journey.
- Chibaminato Station → Maihama Station
Take a Tokyo-bound JR Keiyo Line service stopping at Maihama. Continue airport travel from Maihama Station.
- Maihama Station → Tokyo Station
Take a Tokyo-bound JR train stopping at Tokyo. Allow time at Tokyo Station to change to an airport train or a service towards Hamamatsucho.
- Tokyo Station → Narita or Haneda Airport
For Narita departure, choose an airport train such as Narita Express stopping at your terminal. For Haneda, take JR towards Hamamatsucho, then Tokyo Monorail stopping at your terminal. Add station and terminal walking time to meet your airline’s check-in deadline.
Port Tower opens June–September 09:00–21:00; October–May weekdays 09:00–19:00 and weekends/public holidays 09:00–20:00. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing. Regular closures are normally the fourth Monday of even-numbered months and December 28–31; check the official annual calendar for your date. Omit the deck during regular or temporary closures, including strong winds. If the airport connection is tight, skip Port Tower and leave directly from Maihama for the airport.
Included: DisneySea adult one-day starting price 8,900 yen + Port Tower 420 yen + two Resort Line rides 600 yen. Admission-only subtotal starts at 9,320 yen.

Frequently asked questions
Do I go straight to the airport after Port Tower?
This course returns from Chibaminato to Maihama before travelling through Tokyo Station to the airport. Visit Port Tower only if that route and airport procedures fit comfortably. Collect any bags left at your Maihama accommodation before airport departure. Omit the harbour for an early flight or tight connection.

Can I see both the museum and old streets in Sawara?
Walk about 15 minutes from Sawara Station to the museum for maps and surveying exhibits, then explore around the Onogawa River. Match the visit to museum opening days and return trains to Narita. Boat cruises are excluded.
