Where should I spend an extra day on a 4-day Fukuoka trip?
Spend another day in Fukuoka or take a day trip to Nagasaki, Yufuin, Beppu or Kumamoto. Compare the three city routes with trips further afield. You can buy individual train tickets without a Northern Kyushu Rail Pass.
