From 1 April 2026, individual admission costs JPY 500 for adults and university students or JPY 200 for primary, junior high and senior high school pupils. Preschool children enter free. For groups of 30 or more, admission costs JPY 400 for adults and university students or JPY 100 for school pupils.

How to get to Ishibutai Tomb
From stand 2 at Kashiharajingu-mae’s east exit, take a bus that stops at Ishibutai. Walk about 3 minutes from the stop to the tomb. Adult bus fares between the station’s east exit and Ishibutai are JPY 440 each way, JPY 880 return. Check the return bus and onward train together. The source weekday timetable applies from 1 September 2026 to 31 March 2027; weekends and public holidays have a separate timetable.

Before you visit
Plan outward and return buses together
If you are returning to Nara city, check both the bus from Ishibutai to Kashiharajingu-mae’s east exit and your onward train. Weekday and weekend/public holiday bus timetables differ.

Park parking restrictions in autumn 2026
The park car park is for bicycles and motorcycles only from 19 September to 15 November 2026. If you drive during this period, check other parking locations and fees. Outside these dates, follow the park information for your visit day.
