Admission

During repairs, the rear dressing rooms have special admission of ¥200 for adults and ¥100 for junior high school students and younger. This is not main-building admission. The main building is closed for major repairs including seismic strengthening.

Dressing-room reception during repairs runs 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Dressing-room access closes December 29–January 2. The main building has been closed for major repairs since September 2, 2024, with reopening planned for spring 2029. The schedule may change; check official notices.

A theater along the historic streets

Look for Uchiko-za while walking past Uchiko's historic buildings and shops. See the exterior instead of the closed main-building interior, and check the separate access notice for the rear dressing rooms.
