Washuzan overlooks islands in the Seto Inland Sea; Yubara Onsen shows a footbath and bridge. Bitchu Matsuyama Castle has a separate mountain-side view.
After Korakuen in Okayama City, choose between walking Kurashiki’s historic streets and a Seto Inland Sea view from Washuzan. They pull you in different directions; Yubara Onsen needs an additional trip into the mountains.
Spring flowers near Korakuen and an evening in Kurashiki’s historic quarter make different stops. For island views at Washuzan, check the forecast as well as the camera.
Barazushi is an Okayama choice; Tsuyama is where to look for horumon udon with offal.
