Visitor information
Admission
Aquarium-only individual admission is JPY 2,030 for adults and senior secondary students, JPY 1,010 for primary and junior secondary students, and JPY 500 for preschool children aged four and over. Combined neighbouring-facility tickets and evening tickets are separate products.
Opening hours
The aquarium usually opens from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. Listed hours are 9:30 am–8 pm during Golden Week and the late-July–August summer holiday period, and 9:30 am–5 pm from December to mid-March. Last admission is one hour before closing. Check exact hours for your date on the official calendar.

How to get to Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium
Take the Meiko subway line to Nagoyako Station, then walk about five minutes from exit 3. From JR or Meitetsu, change at Kanayama for a Nagoyako-bound Meiko Line service. From the Higashiyama Line, check the Nagoyako-bound connection at Sakae.

Choose performance times before exploring the exhibitions
Performances have different locations and times, which may overlap. Choose your preferred performances first, then explore North and South Building exhibitions between them. Check the day’s notices for weather- or animal-related changes and cancellations.
Monday closures and holiday-period exceptions
The aquarium closes on Mondays, or the following day if Monday is a public holiday. It opens on Mondays during Golden Week, July–September, the New Year period and spring school holidays. Maintenance may cause temporary closures; check the official calendar for your date.
