Individual aquarium-only admission is JPY 2,030 for adults and senior high school students, JPY 1,010 for primary and junior high school pupils, and JPY 500 for preschool children aged four and above. Combined nearby-facility tickets and evening tickets are separate.
Opening hours and closed days
Usual opening hours are 09:30–17:30. During Golden Week and the late-July–August summer holiday period, the guide lists 09:30–20:00; from December to mid-March, 09:30–17:00. Last admission is one hour before closing. Check the official calendar for the exact times on your visit date.

Underwater viewing windows
The North Building’s underwater windows let you observe swimming belugas and dolphins. Dolphin performances take place in its third-floor stadium, so allow time for the windows and stadium separately.

How to get to Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium
Take the Meiko subway line to Nagoyako Station and walk about five minutes from Exit 3. From JR or Meitetsu, change at Kanayama for a Nagoyako-bound Meiko Line train. From the Higashiyama Line, check the Nagoyako-bound connection at Sakae.
