Visitor information
Admission
Individual admission is JPY 300 for high school students and older, or JPY 150 for children aged four to junior high school students. The combined British and Italian villa ticket costs JPY 450 and JPY 200 respectively. Tea experiences and cafe orders cost extra.
Opening hours
The villa opens from 1 April to 30 November. Hours are 9 am–4 pm in April and from 11 to 30 November, and 9 am–5 pm from May to 10 November. There are no regular closure days from May to November.

Walk towards Utagahama on the southeastern lakeshore from Chuzenji Onsen terminal, taking about 35 minutes. This walking guide does not cover routes or times by boat or seasonal bus.
Before you visit
Winter and April closure days
The villa is closed for winter from December to March and on Mondays in April. If Monday is a public holiday, check the subsequent substitute closure. Check notices for your visit date, as temporary changes are possible.

Compare the combined ticket if visiting the British villa. Beyond the roughly 35-minute walk from the terminal, allow time for the visits and return walk.
