General worship hours are 06:00–19:00. The area behind the main sanctuary and Soganoyashiro close at 16:30. After 19:00, worship is possible only in front of the eastern bronze torii.

How to get to Izumo Oyashiro Shrine
Board an Ichibata Bus towards Izumo Oyashiro Shrine or Hinomisaki at stand 1 outside JR Izumoshi Station's north exit. Get off at Seimon-mae, 正門前. Services via AEON Mall cost JPY 510 one way for adults, or JPY 1,020 return on the same route. Return using an Izumoshi-bound bus from Seimon-mae. Check both directions' timetables for your travel day and temporary operating notices. By railway, the usual route starts at Dentetsu-Izumoshi and changes at Kawato for Izumo Taishamae. Some services are direct, so check whether your chosen train needs a change.
