Hakkoda Maru was a Seikan ferry carrying trains across the sea. Go aboard for railway vehicles and displays recreating the old Aomori Station apple market and ferry waiting room.
Walk there from Aomori Station and combine it with the waterfront.

Admission
Individual exhibition admission costs JPY 510 for adults and university students, JPY 310 for junior and high school students and JPY 110 for primary school students. The WA RASSE combined ticket has ended; pay individual admission for both facilities.
Opening hours
Opening hours are 09:00–19:00 from April–October, with last admission at 18:00. From November–March, they are 09:00–17:00, with last admission at 16:30. The ship closes on Mondays from November–March, or the next day if that Monday is a public holiday. It also closes on 31 December, 1 January and Monday–Friday in March’s second week.

Walk about five minutes to the ticket office at the boarding entrance on Level 2. Buy admission before exploring the on-board displays; allow ticketing and viewing time in addition to the station walk.
