Visitor information
Admission
General worship is open to visitors during opening hours. Check the official information below for worship fees. Separately requested prayers start at JPY 5,000 per request.
Opening hours
Worship hours are 05:00–18:00. Reception operates from around 08:30 to 16:00, and prayer reception from around 09:00 to 14:30. Goshuin shrine stamps are accepted until 16:00, separately from worship hours.

Walk the long corridor as it follows the contours of the ground. View shrine buildings from the grounds; the main sanctuary interior is not open for general visits.

How to get to Kibitsujinja Shrine
Take a JR Kibi Line (Momotaro Line) train towards Soja from Okayama and get off at Kibitsu. Walk about 10 minutes to the shrine. The shrine's official directions give about 17 minutes by train; JR timetable searches show 15–18 minutes one way. Check actual trains for your visiting day and allow extra waiting time. Return from Kibitsu on an Okayama-bound train.

Distinguish similarly named shrines
Kibitsujinja Shrine and Kibitsuhiko Shrine are different places. For Kibitsujinja, get off at Kibitsu Station, checking both the shrine name and station in your directions.

Time for the corridor and grounds
The Okayama guide allows 60–90 minutes for worship, the corridor and grounds. This is not a standard duration set by the shrine; adjust it to your walking pace and what you want to see.
