Admission
Walking through the park is free. Adult admission inside Higashi Gate and Tatsumi Turret is JPY 200. A combined ticket for three facilities—Higashi Gate and Tatsumi Turret, Hitsuji-saru Turret and Momijiyama Garden—is JPY 360 for adults.
Opening hours
The three paid facilities open 9 am–4:30 pm, with last admission at 4 pm. They close on Mondays, except public holidays when they open with no replacement closure day, and from 29 December to 3 January.

How to get to Sunpu Castle Park
Walk about 15 minutes from JR Shizuoka Station to Sunpu Castle Park, at 1-1 Sunpujo Koen. Allow extra time within the park to find your chosen paid facility’s entrance.
Before you visit
Scheduled repairs: 28 September–30 November 2026
The entrance passage and external fence at Higashi Gate and Tatsumi Turret are scheduled for repairs from 28 September to 30 November 2026. The notice says the facilities remain open as usual during the works. Follow local access signs around the work areas.
Check the opening plans for the keep-base outdoor facilities
The outdoor facilities at the castle keep base are planned to open from spring 2027 onwards. Check an opening announcement before treating them as available to visit.
