Admission
Kami-no-Yu bath only costs ¥700 for ages 12+ and ¥350 for ages 2–11, with a 60-minute limit. Kami-no-Yu bathing with second-floor shared relaxation space costs ¥1,300 for adults and ¥650 for ages 2–11. The Tama-no-Yu second-floor shared-room option costs ¥2,000 for adults and ¥1,000 for ages 2–11, including both baths, second-floor Tama-no-Yu rest and a self-guided Yushinden visit. A separate guided Yushinden tour costs ¥500 for adults and ¥250 for ages 6–11. Check each option’s booking conditions when adding relaxation rooms or tours.
Opening hours
Kami-no-Yu bath only operates 06:00–23:00, with reception until 22:30, a 60-minute limit and no advance reservations. Second- and third-floor relaxation options operate 06:00–22:00. Reception ends at 21:00 for Kami-no-Yu and Tama-no-Yu second-floor shared-room options, and 20:30 for Tama-no-Yu third-floor private rooms. Yushinden tours run 09:00–17:00, with reception until 16:30.

Rest in a relaxation room after bathing
Alongside the Kami-no-Yu bath-only option, other options combine bathing with relaxation-room use. The Tama-no-Yu second-floor shared-room option includes baths at Kami-no-Yu and Tama-no-Yu, rest on the second floor and a self-guided Yushinden visit. Prices, time limits and reception conditions differ by option.
How to get to Dogo Onsen Honkan
Take an Iyotetsu tram towards Dogo Onsen and get off at Dogo Onsen Station. Walk along Haikara-dori shopping street to Honkan. Check individual shops’ hours if planning a meal before or after bathing.

Honkan does not offer overnight stays
Honkan is a public bathhouse. Book separate accommodation nearby if you want to spend a night in Dogo after bathing.
Walk Dogo’s shopping area after bathing
Haikara-dori shopping street connects Dogo Onsen Station and Honkan. Check individual shops’ hours if walking or eating before or after bathing. Shop hours differ from Honkan’s bathing hours.

Do I need to reserve a Kami-no-Yu bath-only visit?
The Kami-no-Yu bath-only option cannot be reserved in advance; register on site. Leave flexibility afterwards in case of queues. Other options with relaxation rooms have different reception and booking conditions; check Honkan’s official guidance.
