How to get to Oyakuen
Haikara-san takes about 30 minutes from Aizu-Wakamatsu Station to Oyakuen stop, beside the entrance. On Akabe, get off at Aizu-Wakamatsu-Shokokaigisho-mae and walk about 5 minutes. The two buses use different stops.

Visiting tips
Visit earlier in winter
There is no garden lighting; visit earlier in winter. Shorten outdoor walks when rain or snow makes walking difficult.

Questions about Oyakuen
Do Haikara-san and Akabe use the same Oyakuen stop?
The stops differ. Haikara-san stops at Oyakuen beside the entrance; Akabe uses Aizu-Wakamatsu-Shokokaigisho-mae with about a 5-minute walk.
