Temple grounds visits are free. Daruma painting costs JPY 1,500 for 12 cm or JPY 2,000 for 15 cm. Separate prayers, souvenirs and other purchases are excluded.

How to get to Shorinzan Darumaji Temple

From Takasaki Station west exit bus bay 4, take Gururin Shorinzan route 1 to Shorinzan-iriguchi. Walk about five minutes to the temple. To reach the upper activity venue, climb around 200 more stairs beyond the main gate.

Climb stairs to the activity venue

Walk about five minutes from Shorinzan-iriguchi to the temple, then climb around 200 stairs beyond the main gate to the upper activity venue. Allow time for both the stairs and waiting for your activity.
