Admission
When only permanent exhibits are running, standard admission is JPY 300, or JPY 150 for university and high school students; junior high school students and younger enter free. Adult admission to the 115th Noh costume special exhibition, 18 September–23 November 2026, is JPY 1,000, including permanent exhibits. Other special exhibitions have their own prices.
Opening hours
09:30–17:00, last entry 16:30. Closed Mondays, or the following day if Monday is a public or substitute holiday, and 29 December–3 January. Check the official calendar for temporary closures and opening on your date.

How to get to Gunma Prefectural Museum of History
From Takasaki Station east side, take Gururin route 9, 10 or 15 to Gunma-no-Mori. Walk about five minutes from the stop to the history museum. Adult bus fare is JPY 200.
