Admission: university students and older JPY 200; high school students JPY 100; junior high school students and younger free. Visitors aged 65 and over pay JPY 100 with official identification.

March–July and September–November: 07:30–19:00. August: 07:30–20:00. December–February: 07:30–18:00. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing. Hours extend to 21:00 on 5 and 6 August; closed 30 and 31 December. Check the official calendar for temporary closures on your date.

How to get to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum

Take route 2 towards Miyajimaguchi or route 6 towards Eba from Hiroshima Station to Genbaku Dome-mae. Walk through Peace Memorial Park to the museum's East Building entrance. Return on route 2 or 6 towards Hiroshima Station from Genbaku Dome-mae. Standard one-way fare: adults JPY 240; children JPY 120.

Entry times requiring reservations

Mandatory advance online reservation periods are 07:30–08:30 and 17:30–18:30 in March–July and September–November; 07:30–08:30 and 16:30–17:30 in December–February; and 07:30–08:30 and 18:30–19:30 in August. Online purchases are recommended at other times; sales may end early when busy. Check temporary closures and reservation conditions for your date before buying.
