How to get to Morioka Castle Site Park
The tourism association gives a walking time of about 15 minutes from Morioka Station. By bus, board the left-loop Dendenmushi at stop 16 outside the station and get off at the castle park stop, about six minutes away in the timetable. The tourism association calls the stop 盛岡城跡公園前, while the operator’s timetable uses 盛岡城跡公園. Allow separate time to explore the park’s stone walls.
