How to get to Kakunodate Aoyagi House
Follow samurai-house district signs from Kakunodate Station to 角館町表町下丁3. The tourism association estimates roughly 15 minutes from the station, while city hall estimates roughly 20. Check the actual route before allocating time.

Confirm winter closing with the facility
December–March closing differs: association 16:30 versus city hall 16:00. Ask Aoyagi for the day’s closing before planning a late-afternoon winter visit.
