Admission
Park walking is free. Kubota Castle Osumiyagura interior admission is ¥150 per person per visit, free for high school age and younger.
Opening hours
The park opens year-round. Osumiyagura is open 1 April–30 November, 09:00–16:30. Summer-break hours may extend to 19:00; check dated guidance.
What to see at Senshu Park
Walk from the moat to Ninomaru
Follow the water around the moat, then climb to the hillside Ninomaru site. To reduce slopes, finish your walk around the moat.
How to get to Senshu Park
Walk roughly five minutes from Akita Station to the pocket park or 15 minutes to the hillside Ninomaru site. Allocate walking time according to how far you want to explore.
Visiting tips
Osumiyagura closes in winter
Kubota Castle Osumiyagura closes 1 December–31 March. Park walking and indoor visits have different hours; check opening for your date before visiting the interior.
