Visiting tips
Check whether your bus has walking stops
Some circular buses pause 20 minutes at Katajiri and 10 at Gozanoishi Shrine. Return to the same bus before the stop ends. Some early/late services have no walking stops; some do not run Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and designated holiday periods. Check both stop/suspension markings for your date. For a different bus, check ticket conditions and extra fares separately.
Snow or footpath restrictions
Follow local guidance for snow or road/footpath restrictions. Daytime statue viewing during a circular-bus walking stop excludes sightseeing boats, restaurants, parking and night visits.
