The basic sand-bath set costs JPY 1,500 for junior high school age and over or JPY 800 for elementary school age and younger. It includes sand bathing, hot springs and a rental yukata, with towels separate. The towel set costs JPY 1,800 for junior high school age and over or JPY 1,100 for elementary school age and younger. Special periods may have supplements.
Opening hours
Open 08:30–21:00, with reception until 20:00. Sand-bath reception pauses 12:00–13:00 on weekdays.

The sand-bath set includes sand bathing, hot springs and a rental yukata. Leave time for a short rest afterwards rather than immediately moving to the next place.
How to get to Natural Sand Bath Center 'Saraku'
Take the JR Ibusuki-Makurazaki Line from Kagoshima-Chuo Station to Ibusuki Station. Saraku is about 20 minutes away on foot or five minutes by taxi. Add station-to-facility travel to train arrival when checking whether you can reach reception before its deadline.

Coordinate train arrival and sand-bath reception
Saraku is about a 20-minute walk from Ibusuki Station. Sand-bath reception pauses 12:00–13:00 on weekdays, so account for walking after train arrival. For your return, allow changing, the experience, rest and travel back to the station.
