Admission
Individual admission is JPY 200 ordinary, or JPY 100 for senior high school and university students. Junior high school students and younger enter free. Adding a separate Honmaru Palace ticket totals JPY 300 per adult. The city's two-facility ticket pairs the museum with the art museum.
Opening hours
Hours are 09:00–17:00, with admission until 16:30. Closed Mondays, or the following day if a public holiday; the fourth Friday unless a public holiday; December 29–January 3; and fumigation, disinfection and collection organization periods.

How to get to Kawagoe City Museum
From Kawagoe or Hon-Kawagoe Station, take a Tobu bus via Kura no Machi to Fudanotsuji, then walk about 10 minutes to the museum. From Eagle Bus Hakubutsukan/Bijutsukan-mae or Tobu bus/shuttle Hakubutsukan-mae, walk about one minute.
