Admission
Combined main-building/Higashiyama Kaii collection ticket: adults ¥700; university students/ages 75+ ¥500 with identification. High school students and younger, or under 18, free. Fees change if one gallery closes; special exhibitions cost extra.
Opening hours
09:00–17:00, gallery admission until 16:30. Main-building and Higashiyama Kaii changeover dates may differ; check both schedules to see both.

How to get to Nagano Prefectural Art Museum
Take Zenkoji-bound route 10 from Nagano Station Zenkoji Exit bay 1. On weekdays, get off at Zenkoji Daimon and walk approximately ten minutes. Weekends/public holidays use Shiroyama Koen-mae and an approximately one-minute walk. Routes 11/16/17 also offer an approximately three-minute walk from Zenkoji-kita; choose the stop matching your service.

Closures and exhibition changes
Closed Wednesdays, or the next weekday if a public holiday, and 28 December–3 January. Changeovers close some galleries; check main-building and Higashiyama Kaii calendars separately.

Rooftop plaza hours
The rooftop plaza normally closes at night and on museum closure days. Visit during opening hours if including the roof.
