Admission
Permanent admission: adults ages 18+ ¥500; university students ¥250 with student identification. High school students and younger, or under 18, free with proof of eligibility. Special exhibitions cost extra.
Opening hours
Floor 2/3 galleries and children's activity space open 09:00–17:00, ticket sales until 16:30. Floor 1 opens 09:00–21:00. For exhibitions, use gallery hours rather than the later first-floor closing.

Tuesday closures differ by floor
Floor 2/3 galleries and children's activity space close every Tuesday; floor 1 closes the third Tuesday each month. If a public holiday, closure moves to the next weekday. All areas close 29 December–3 January; check temporary notices before visiting.
