Individual admission is ¥300 for adults and ¥100 for elementary and junior high school students. Those students enter free on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Facility discounts with a valid sightseeing loop bus day pass have separate conditions. Four nights and five days Course A uses ordinary admission.
Opening hours
Opens 09:30–18:00 from April to September and 09:30–17:00 from October to March. The facility recommends admission at least 30 minutes before closing. It closes Mondays, or the next day when Monday is a public holiday. It also closes the day after a public holiday; when that falls on Saturday or Sunday, it closes Tuesday instead. December 28–January 3 is closed. Check the official calendar for temporary closures.

How to get to The Niigata Saito Villa
Take the sightseeing loop bus from Niigata Station bus terminal bay 18 and get off at Hoppo Bunka Hakubutsukan Niigata Bunkan-mae. Walk about one minute to the villa. The bus runs in one direction. After visiting, take the next service from the same stop back to Niigata Station. Adult fares are ¥260 per ride; two rides plus ordinary admission total ¥820. Check your date’s services and detour notices.

Main house roof work is planned from early August to mid-November 2026, covering part of the exterior. Rain may restrict garden walks. Check facility and city notices for what you can visit on your date.
Opening calendar and return loop bus
Check the opening calendar first for closures or temporary access restrictions. The loop bus runs in one direction; know that direction and the next service when returning to Niigata Station from the same stop.
