Visitor information
Admission
Individual same-day admission is JPY 1,600 for adults, JPY 600 for elementary/junior/senior high school students and JPY 300 for preschool children aged three and over. Advance tickets bought by the previous day cost JPY 1,500, JPY 500 and JPY 200 respectively. Paid activities are separate.
Opening hours
Hours are 10:00–17:00, with admission until 16:30. Regular closures are Tuesdays and New Year. Check opening-calendar exceptions and temporary closures.

How to get to The Railway Museum
From Omiya Station, take the New Shuttle to Tetsudo-Hakubutsukan. The museum is about a one-minute walk from the station.
