Admission
Ordinary admission is ¥2,000; senior high school and university students pay ¥1,400 and must show ID on entry. Junior high school students and younger enter free. Atami Station return buses cost ¥200 each way separately; ordinary admission and return buses total ¥2,400.
Opening hours
Open 09:30–16:30, last entry 16:00. Check temporary operating changes in the official calendar for your date.

How to get to MOA Museum of Art
Take a MOA Museum-bound bus from Atami Station bay 8 and get off at the terminus, about seven minutes. Buy your ticket at the escalator entrance in front of the stop, ascend eight sections to Mua Square in about 10 minutes, then continue to the main entrance. Ticketing and waits are extra. Choose the Atami Station-bound return in advance and allow time to descend from the galleries to the stop. M-marked timetable services do not run on museum closure days.

Visiting tips
The main building is uphill from the bus stop
After the bus, ascend eight escalator sections to Mua Square, about 10 minutes. This is separate from the seven-minute bus ride; ticket purchase and waiting are extra. Allow gallery-to-stop descent on the return.

Closure days and return buses
Closed Thursdays except public holidays, and exhibition-changeover days. Check your date in the official calendar. M-marked timetable services do not run on museum closure days.

Can I enter the galleries immediately after getting off the bus?
You still need to reach the main building. Buy a ticket at the terminus-front escalator entrance, ascend eight sections to Mua Square in about 10 minutes, then continue to the main entrance. The seven-minute bus ride excludes this, ticketing and queues.
