Visitor information
Admission
Building viewing-facility admission is ¥100 ordinary/senior high school admission or ¥50 for elementary and junior high school students. Preschool children enter free. The outdoor corridor has no admission fee.
Opening hours
Building hours are 09:00–17:00 Sunday–Friday and 09:00–21:00 Saturday. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing. Closed the second Tuesday each month, or the next weekday if a public holiday. The outdoor corridor is accessible all day.

Mountains and sea from the corridor
The corridor offers views towards Mount Fuji, Suruga Bay and Shimizu Port. Walk slowly along it to take in mountain and sea scenery.
How to get to Nihondaira Yume Terrace
Take a bus from Shizuoka Station-front to the Nihondaira Ropeway terminus and get off there. Follow terrace signs at the summit. The facility lists about three minutes on foot between terrace and ropeway. Higashi-Shizuoka departures differ from Shizuoka Station services, so check your boarding station. Allow separate time for bus waits and meals.

Paid building admission from October 1, 2026
The outdoor viewing corridor remains free. The building's exhibits and viewing floor charge admission from October 1, 2026.
Check year-end closures
The building closes at year-end. The top of the official guide lists December 26–31, while its FAQ says December 26–30. For a year-end visit, confirm opening dates with the facility.

Can I see Mount Fuji on a cloudy day?
Clouds around Mount Fuji may hide it. Check the weather for a Fuji-viewing visit. The corridor also overlooks Suruga Bay and Shimizu Port.
