Visitor information
Admission
Admission is JPY 510 for adults, JPY 410 for junior and senior high school students and JPY 260 for elementary school students. Children under six enter free. The combination ticket with Eddy is a separate product.
Opening hours
Open 09:00–18:00 March–September, last admission 17:30; 09:00–17:00 October–February, last admission 16:30. Golden Week and summer holidays extend hours to 08:00–19:00, with last admission at 18:30.

What to see at Uzunomichi
The strait beneath your feet
View the strait from the under-bridge walkway and examine the currents through the glass floor. The sea viewed from above is the main attraction here.
How to get to Uzunomichi
Take a Naruto Park-bound bus outside Tokushima Station and get off at the park. Walk about five minutes to Uzunomichi. The facility gives a bus ride of about 80 minutes; waiting time is extra. By car, set navigation to the Onaruto Bridge construction memorial hall, Eddy. Entering only Uzunomichi may direct you elsewhere.
Visiting tips
Timing the whirlpools
Whirlpool times and sizes change each day. When choosing a visit time from the tide table, check the facility admission deadline. At some times, it is open but whirlpools are not visible.
Regular closures and additional December 2026 closures
Closed the second Monday of March, June, September and December. Additional closures are announced December 14–16, 2026; check facility notices for travel in that period.
