There is no admission charge for a park walk. Museums, the zoo and boats charge separately.
Opening hours
The park is accessible 05:00–23:00. Individual facilities such as museums and the zoo have different hours.
What to see at Ueno Park
From the fountain plaza to Shinobazu Pond
Continue through the fountain plaza and central paths to the Saigo statue and Shinobazu Pond. After the zoo, rest nearby or walk onwards to the pond if you want to explore more.
How to get to Ueno Park
Use JR Ueno Station's Park Exit and enter the park opposite. Walk through the fountain plaza and central paths, then continue to the Saigo statue and Shinobazu Pond.
