Admission costs JPY 1,500 for adults and JPY 500 for elementary and junior high school students. Preschool children enter free. The official English guide defines adults as 16 and older, and children as ages 6–15.

How to get to Kamo Aquarium
From bay 1 outside Yamagata Station, take a Tsuruoka/Sakata-bound highway bus to S-Mall Terminal. At S-Mall bay 1, change to a Yunohama Onsen-bound local bus via Kamo and get off at Kamo Suizokukan. Return by local bus to S-Mall, then the Yamagata highway bus. Weekday and holiday timetables differ; check both outbound and return connections for your travel date.

Take a bus via Kamo
At S-Mall Terminal, use a Yunohama Onsen-bound bus via Kamo. Services to the same destination via Zenpoji follow another route. Return using the local bus and Yamagata highway bus, checking both connections together in the weekday or holiday timetable.
