Exhibition admission is ¥600 for ages 16 and older and ¥300 for ages 6–15. Groups of at least eight and disability discounts have separate conditions. Shop-only visits require no exhibition admission fee.
Opening hours
March–October hours are 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., entry until 5:00 p.m.; November–February, 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., entry until 4:30 p.m. Admission ends 30 minutes before closing.

From rough stones to jewellery, plus a large crystal
See about 50 major gemstone types as sets of rough stones, cut gems and jewellery, comparing shapes before and after processing. A large 1.8-metre crystal stands towards the back of the exhibition.

How to get to Yamanashi Gem Museum
Take the Red Line towards the Natural Living Center from Kawaguchiko Station bay 1. Get off at stop 6, Yamanashi Gem Museum/Kawaguchiko, then follow the official facility map and signs on foot to the exhibition entrance. Allow separate walking time after getting off. Choose outward and station-bound return services for your date, reading departure and arrival in the same service column. The regular adult ¥180 one-way fare was checked October 8, 2026; recheck your date's fare table.

Visiting on Wednesday
Closed Wednesdays, with exceptions for public holidays and Golden Week; July–August are listed as open without closing days. Check opening for the specific date if visiting on Wednesday.
