The official walk from Kofu Station's south exit to Maizuru Castle Park takes about three minutes. This differs from Yamanote Gate in Kofu City Historical Park north of the station; use the south exit.

Inari Turret and Kurogane Gate closing days
Inari Turret and Kurogane Gate close Mondays, opening if Monday is a public holiday. They also close the day after public holidays and December 29–January 3. The outdoor park is always open; check building closures separately if you plan to go inside.
