Admission

Individual return fares through October 31, 2026 are ¥1,000 for adults and ¥500 for children. From November 1, they are scheduled to become ¥1,200 for adults and ¥600 for children.

Normal operating hours are 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with the last descent at 5:20 p.m. July 20–August 31 hours are 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., last descent 6:20 p.m.

How to get to Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway

Walk about 15 minutes from Kawaguchiko Station to the lakeside ropeway station. By bus, get off at the sightseeing boat/ropeway entrance stop and walk to the station. Boarding waits after reaching the station are separate.

The roughly three minutes is the ascent aboard the ropeway. Allow separately for queueing and viewpoint sightseeing. Check the last descent first.

Shortened hours and suspensions for 2026 maintenance

Regular maintenance is scheduled to shorten operations on October 21–22 and November 25–26, 2026. Annual maintenance is scheduled to suspend services December 7–18. Strong winds, thunderstorms or other bad weather may stop operations without notice; check the day's announcements.
