Choose your accommodation location first
Times are on board from Naha Airport Station to the destination station. After landing, immigration, baggage, customs, walking to the station, ticketing, moving to the platform, waiting for the train, and walking to accommodation are not included. If you have bus transfers, you'll also have to add waiting times and additional fares.

Yui Rail’s Naha Airport Station · 那覇空港駅 is elevated outside the terminal. Reach it via the domestic-area 2F connecting passage.
International arrival
- After completing immigration, baggage, and customs, exit to the arrival lobby on the first floor of the international flight.
- Take the lift/escalator to the 2nd floor and go to the domestic flight area.
- Follow the ‘モノレール / Monorail’ sign, cross the passageway on the second floor of the domestic flight, and go to the airport station ticket gate.
- After ticketing and payment, go through the ticket gate, go up to the upstairs platform, and take the train heading to the city.
Domestic flight arrival
- Claim your baggage and exit to the arrival lobby on the first floor of the domestic flight.
- Go up to the second floor and look for the sign for the monorail connection passageway.
- Go to the connecting passage → Airport station ticket gate → upstairs platform.
If the suitcase is large, find the lift route first. The train departure time and the time indicated in the arrival lobby are different.
Walking time to Naha Airport Station varies depending on where you arrive and the amount of luggage. Rather than assuming that you will arrive in just a few minutes, leave some time, including the location of the arrival gate, luggage, and waiting for the lift.

Kencho-mae suits hotels near the prefectural office and Palette Kumoji · パレットくもじ. Official tourism guidance gives about two minutes to the western Kokusai-dori entrance. For hotels farther along the street, compare Makishi or Miebashi instead of walking the whole length with bags.
Getting to Makishi / east Kokusai-dori

Makishi is convenient for Saion Square and nearby hotels. For central Kokusai-dori, compare your address with Miebashi Station · 美栄橋駅: JPY 320/about 14 minutes from the airport, then an official reference of about seven minutes to the street, not every hotel. Getting to Asahibashi / Naha Bus Terminal

Leave the gates and follow the pedestrian deck to Kafuna Asahibashi Building A. From the 2F deck, use stairs or a lift down to the 1F bus terminal, then check your route, direction and bay. Upper shopping floors are separate. The onward bus fare and waiting are extra; the bus does not wait for your monorail.
Getting to Omoromachi / Shintoshin hotels

T Galleria Okinawa · T ギャラリア沖縄 is by the station. Hotels and shopping areas to the west have different walking routes. San-A Naha Main Place · サンエー那覇メインプレイス requires a final walk. With heavy bags or a distant hotel, compare a taxi to its entrance.
Yui Rail payment and transfer costs
Buy a regular QR ticket at the station machine, or use OKICA or a compatible nationwide transport IC card such as Suica, PASMO or ICOCA. Touch payment for supported cards uses a dedicated reader at the ticket gate, and the same card or device is used when entering and exiting.
If you transfer from Yui Rail to a bus, the bus fare is separate. Just because Suica works on the monorail doesn't mean it works on all Okinawa buses. In particular, TK01 and TK02 below do not accept transport IC cards but use cash or support card touch payments.
Regular tickets, exclusive monorail tickets, and bus passes have different scopes of application and are not explained in the same table.

TK01 Hare Express/TK02 Umikaji Liner

TK01 is an early morning express, and TK02 is a regular route to the city. Airport→Kokusai-dori entrance costs JPY 240 for an adult. You must take the northbound bus to downtown, and do not confuse it with the southbound bus stop 6 toward Itoman and Senagajima.
The drop-off point at the entrance to Kokusai-dori is in front of the Okinawa Bank main branch, near the Kumoji intersection. This is not a stop that takes you directly to your accommodation on the Makishi side.
Airport departure → Kokusai-dori entrance timetable
As of August 2026 revised table: Weekdays 07:17~21:13, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays 07:48~21:21. These are the first and last buses across TK01/TK02, and is different from the timetable to the airport.
Comparing the departure from the airport and arrival at the Kokusai-dori entrance in the table, the ride takes about 11 to 15 minutes. Travelling to the stop, ticketing, waiting, and walking to the accommodation are separate steps, and may take longer due to congestion or event detours.
Receive a numbered ticket at the middle gate, touch the boarding card reader or support card reader, and pay at the front gate when getting off. Transportation IC cards cannot be used, and cash or supported credit card touch payment is used. For large luggage, please check with the driver about space and aisle availability in the vehicle.
The trunk conditions of the resort limousine do not apply to this city bus.
On October 11, 2026, TK02 will make a round trip from the airport and will not stop at the entrance to Kokusai-dori. Compare Yui Rail and taxi for travelling within the city on this day. Official detour information on the day of the festival
There are other routes at the airport, such as 26, 99, and 120, but the transit and drop-off stops are different. Route suitable for your accommodation Official Bus Navi search by date/direction. Okinawa Bus announced changes to the airport stop names and fares on October 19th, so you must check the notices on that date when using the four companies' routes.
From the official taxi stand to the front of the accommodation

For Naha city, use the medium/short-distance taxi rank. It is separated from the long-distance boarding area north of Chatan. Check the location using the airport taxi map and on-site staff, and prepare the Japanese address rather than just showing the name of the accommodation, so it is difficult to confuse hotels with the same name.
The regular car fare stated in the operator’s revised notice on August 24, 2026 is 650 yen for the first 1.65km, 100 yen for every 350m thereafter.. Approved fares and low-speed driving additions are applied depending on the vehicle and business operator. 20% late-night and early-morning surcharge from 22:00 to 05:00 is appended.
If you use a toll road, check separate costs such as tolls. Fares vary depending on where you go on Kokusai-dori and traffic conditions.
Times vary depending on road conditions. ANA airport information provides a reference value of approximately 20 minutes by car to Kokusai-dori, but it may take longer depending on waiting lines, congestion, detours, and the location of your accommodation. Please ask about payment method and luggage availability before boarding.
Last airport departures and late arrivals
The checked 4 October Sunday/holiday and 5 October Monday/weekday tables show airport departures from 06:00 to 23:30. On Fridays, a special train departing from the airport at 00:00 and terminating in Makishi is shown separately, but does not go to Omoromachi.
Temporary trains should not be used as the last train running every day. For temporary festival dates from October 10th to 12th, please select the boarding date from the official calendar.
Just because the landing time is before 23:00 does not mean you can take the 23:30 train. After completing immigration, baggage, and customs, you must go to the station to issue a ticket, obtain a ticket, and enter the platform. TK01·TK02 city buses finish earlier, so don't assume that you can take the bus instead of the last train.
When you are done with public transportation, go to the official taxi stand. When arriving late alone, it is practical to first secure the accommodation's late check-in availability, entrance and contact information, and compare transportation to the front of the accommodation rather than dragging a suitcase to a distant station or dark unfamiliar road.
For reserved pickup, you must check the flight number tracking, free waiting time, delay surcharge, and contact method on the reservation confirmation.
If you decide to stay near the airport, check the check-in deadlines for hotels that are actually available, means of transportation from the airport, and transportation for the next day. Don't plan on the assumption that you can stay overnight in the airport lobby.

Chatan · 北谷, Onna Village · 恩納村 and Nago · 名護 are not Yui Rail destinations. Compare your hotel’s name with the actual bus stop before choosing a direct airport bus or booked vehicle.
The route below is separate from the downtown movement shown on the Naha city location map.
Chatan: TK05 or Zone A Limousine
TK05 runs from airport stop 5 to Chatan Gateway · 北谷ゲートウェイ. It costs 1,000 yen for adults and the ride time in the official PDF is about 60 minutes.
However, the five departures in the PDF linked to the route page and the 10:30 departure in the flight increase notice do not match. This page does not confirm the first train and number of daily operations. If you plan to use it without a reservation, please check with the operating company (098-850-0011) for the departure on the day of boarding.
There is no reservation, it is a first-come, first-served basis and you cannot ride if all seats are filled. The airport's 2026 platform reorganization information takes precedence, so please distinguish it from the old number 1 notation remaining in the PDF.
Cash/supported transportation IC/card touch payment possible. It cannot be used only for the airport→Kokusai-dori section, and TK05 is not eligible for the Tokyo Bus Unlimited Pass. TK05 conditions/current timetable ↗Onna-son/Nago: Airport shuttle
Take the Okinawa Airport Shuttle from airport stop 1 towards Onna Village and Nago. Until October 14th, there are 9 buses a day departing from the airport from 09:00 to 17:00, and from October 15th to January 31, 2027, there are 8 buses a day with a 14:40 departure suspended.
Express buses skip intermediate Onna Village stops. For intermediate stops such as Onna-noeki · Onna-noeki Nakayukui Ichiba · おんなの駅なかゆくい市場, check whether the regular service actually stops.
Nago is based on stops in front of Nago City Hall · Nago-shiyakusyo Mae · 名護市役所前, and the last 17:00 departure ends in front of Nago City Hall. Not all departures continue to the aquarium.
Web reservations can be made until 17:00 the day before, if there are empty seats on the day. There is a limit of 2 trunks per person, with a total weight of 30kg and 0.25㎥, and a maximum of 2m. Airport→Onna-noeki costs JPY 1,600, Nabee Beach Mae · ナビービーチ前 JPY 1,800, and Nago City Hall JPY 2,000.
Please check the official fare table for other stops. The regular bus to Onnanoeki takes about 1 hour and 14 minutes, and the express ride to Nago City Hall takes about 1 hour and 24 minutes, and the regular bus takes about 2 hours and 26 to 27 minutes. It may take longer depending on traffic congestion.
For rides with empty seats on the day, payment must be made using the means provided by the operator, such as cash, card, or electronic payment, and online reservations must be paid by card.

For the Okinawa Bus Limousine departing from Bus Stop 1 at the airport, use tickets for the actual operating areas such as A, B, C, CD, D. AB·E·DE are currently marked as closed in the operator information. Area A is divided into Chatan and Ginowan Hotels, C is towards Onna Village, and CD and D are towards northern Onna Village and Nago Resort. In the table on August 21, 2026, there is one bus per day departing from Area A airport at 14:10. The 06:50 and 08:50 flights in the table do not depart from the airport. C and CD have a total of 4 buses a day (12:00, 13:50, 15:10, 18:00), and the range of stops varies by hotel, while D has 2 buses a day at 11:30 and 13:30.
Match each hotel row with the airport departure row. Airport → Chatan gateway is 1,000 yen. Zone C’s The Moon Beach Museum Resort · ザ・ムーンビーチ ミュージアムリゾート costs JPY 1,700; ANA InterContinental Manza Beach Resort · ANAインターコンチネンタル万座ビーチリゾート costs JPY 1,800. For other hotels such as Zone D, please check the fare table for each zone separately.
A ticket is required before boarding, and if all seats are full, standing room is not allowed. Same-day airport sales close 10 minutes before departure, and advance reservations are available up to 1 month in advance. Two trunks per person, total weight of 30kg, each within 50×60×120cm. It is not possible to use only the section between Airport → Naha Bus Terminal and Prefectural Office.
Check whether the drop-off hotel/waiting location is the same as the actual reservation accommodation. For example, BEB5 Okinawa Seragaki · BEB5沖縄瀬良垣 does not stop inside the hotel. You must check the Otakushibaru (太田後原) stop designated by the operator with the hotel access information.
When the flight is late or there is a typhoon effect
Okinawa Bus Limousine departs on time without waiting for flight delays. In principle, refunds must be applied for at the place of purchase before the departure time indicated on the ticket, and the operator's ticket provides a 100 yen fee per person and additional conditions for each seller.
Check the remaining seats and purchase conditions to see if you can use or change the next bus. This is not to be confused with the terms and conditions for use of empty seats on the next airport shuttle.
For a booked pickup, enter your actual hotel address and arrival date/time in Klook’s Naha pickup search and conditions. Klook's official FAQ distinguishes between pickup based on flight arrival and fixed time pickup.
For flight-based pickups, the driver checks flight status. A fixed-time pickup missed because of a flight delay can be non-refundable under the provider’s stated terms. Please check the conditions of the selected vehicle separately for free waiting, additional fees, and changeable times.
Depending on whether meeting service is available, you must go to the arrival hall or the designated location on the voucher, and check the number of people and suitcase limits for each vehicle. This search screen does not guarantee availability for all late night hours.
OTS informs you that if you wait more than 1 hour from the scheduled pickup time without contacting us, it will be cancelled and the vehicle may not be provided. For changes or cancellations, you must call the reservation office, and early reservation plans may require a new reservation instead of changing the details. OTS Delay/Change Official FAQ.
For pick-up and rental cars, please inform the reservation sales office and the actual company of your reservation number, flight number, and changed estimated arrival time. The ‘airport branch’ of a rental car does not mean the pick-up counter in the terminal. Transportation to the sales office may be required, and you must check the transportation deadline and final pick-up time. Please note that OTS is currently discontinuing new reservations for out-of-hours departures, so do not assume overnight vehicle collection is available.
If there is a typhoon notice, check each flight, airport terminal, Yui Rail, and selected bus. It is not possible to conclude that all transportation services will be suspended based on weather alone.

If you are going to downtown Naha, compare the regular Yui Rail ticket, TK01, and TK02 fares first. The tourist admission ticket does not connect to the airport transportation ticket. How do I get from the international arrival hall to Yui Rail Station?
After completing immigration, baggage pickup, and customs, go to the arrival lobby on the first floor of the international flight area. Take the lift or escalator to the 2nd floor and go to the domestic section. Follow the monorail signs and cross the 2nd floor domestic passageway to Naha Airport Station. After passing through the ticket gate, go up to the upstairs platform. In the official airport information, walking minutes for each arrival zone are not identified, so fixed times are not provided. Immigration, waiting for baggage, and moving to the station are separate from train on-board journey times.
If it’s an accommodation on Kokusai Street, which station should I get off at?
First, compare Kencho-mae Station on the west near the prefectural office and Palette Kumoji, and Makishi Station on the east toward Saion Square and Makishi. For the city centre and the public market area, it is recommended to take separate walking routes from Makishi Station and Miebashi Station to your accommodation address. If you choose a station based solely on the address of Kokusai Street, you may end up walking down the street for a long time dragging your luggage.
How do I get from Asahibashi Station to Naha Bus Terminal?
From the ticket gate, use the pedestrian deck leading to Kafuna Asahibashi Building A, then go down to the first floor of the building. The Naha Bus Terminal bus stop is on the first floor. You must check the route number, destination, and bus stop number of the bus you wish to ride, and pay the bus fare separately from Yui Rail.
Can I go to Chatan, Onna Village, and Nago by Yui Rail?
Yui Rail is a monorail that connects Naha Airport with Naha and Urasoe stations. It does not go to Chatan, Onna Village, or Nago. Accommodation in the area should be compared to the actual drop-off stop for the bus departing from the airport or the vehicle you reserve. Even if the bus to the resort passes through Kencho Kitaguchi, you cannot only take the city section from the airport to that stop.
If I have a lot of luggage, should I compare bus, Yui Rail, or taxi?
Yui Rail is less affected by congestion, but you still have to carry your luggage from the station to your accommodation. For city route buses, check the stop close to your accommodation and the vehicle's luggage storage space, and for resort buses, check trunk baggage conditions and the section you must walk after getting off. Taxis can go to the front of the accommodation, but you must check whether the number of people and suitcases fit in the vehicle, meter fare, late-night surcharge, and payment method before boarding.
What transportation can I use if I arrive late at night?
In the holiday timetable on October 4, 2026, Yui Rail departure from Naha Airport Station is from 06:00 to 23:30. TK01 and TK02 to the city depart from the airport on weekends and public holidays from 07:48 to 21:21 and end earlier than the train. Don't judge whether you'll board the last train based on landing time alone. After public transport ends, go to your accommodation in Naha city from the official taxi stand on the 1st floor, or check the conditions for late arrival of the pre-confirmed pickup. You should also make reservations for hotels near the airport after checking the check-in deadline and actual airport transportation method.
If my flight is delayed, what happens to my scheduled pick-up or rental car?
If you become aware of a delay, inform the reservation sales office, actual operating company, or rental car pickup office of your reservation number, flight number, and changed estimated arrival time. You must check each pick-up waiting limit, additional charge, reservation change, rental car business closure, and airport transfer deadline. The Okinawa Airport Shuttle informs you that if there are empty seats on the next bus, you can use it by informing the driver of the name and status of the person making the reservation, but the same conditions do not apply to other buses and pickups. Flight delays alone do not guarantee automatic refunds or extended business hours.
