Grounds worship is free. Painting costs JPY 1,500 for 12 cm or JPY 2,000 for 15 cm. Separate prayers, souvenirs and purchases are excluded.

The office and Daruma-do open 09:00–17:00. Activity registration is 10:00–15:30; reserved starts are 10:00–15:00, and the venue closes at 16:00. Prayer registration and event operation follow separate guidance.

How to get to Shorinzan Darumaji Temple

At Takasaki west-exit stand 4, take Gururin Shorinzan route 1 to Shorinzan Iriguchi. Walk about five minutes to the temple; reaching the upper venue adds about 200 stairs beyond Somon.

Before you visit

Stairs to the activity venue

Walk about five minutes from Shorinzan Iriguchi to the temple, then climb about 200 further stairs beyond Somon to the upper venue. Allow time for the climb and activity queues.

Worship and activity registration have different hours
