Ordinary admission costs JPY 500, or JPY 300 for Hirosaki residents. High school and university students enter free with student ID. Primary and junior high school pupils pay JPY 100; preschool children enter free. Special exhibitions may differ. The 3 October–29 November 2026 exhibition also lists ordinary admission at JPY 500.
Opening hours and closed days
The museum opens from 09:30 to 16:30. It closes on third Mondays or the next weekday for public holidays; New Year and exhibition changes may also cause closures. General guidance lists no closures during special exhibitions, but check individual exhibition notices alongside it.
