Kawarada opens from 09:00 to 17:00 in April–November, with last admission at 16:30. In December–March, it opens from 09:00 to 16:30, with last admission at 16:00.

How to get to Kawarada Samurai House
Walk about 15 minutes from Kakunodate Station to Kawarada at 角館町東勝楽丁9. If continuing after Aoyagi, check the route and walking time between the houses separately.

Closed over New Year
Kawarada closes on 28 December–4 January. When combining residence visits, check each facility’s last admission. Kawarada stops admission 30 minutes before closing.
